Wishing, Hoping and Dreaming

I was chatting with someone after my last post about wishing and hoping, which they reworded as, wishing and dreaming. When I corrected them, they shared hoping and dreaming where the same thing. Here are my thoughts on that...
Wishing and hoping come from a place that something is missing, lacking or wrong. They come from a desire for things to be better, improved, different.
When we can get to a place where nothing is wrong, when we can accept and even love our present circumstances, our wishes and hopes go away. What becomes available is a space to dream. And when we dream from a blank slate, without all the attachments of how we think we want or need things to be (especially ourselves), our future opens up to an infinite world of possibilities. We become limitless.
Dream: A cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.
Dreams come from an inspired place where we seek to expand ourselves, those around us and the world at large. And expansion is the name of the game! Dreaming is the first step to building an incredible life, and I would encourage everyone to do it. Write them down. Visualize them. Then create the actionable tasks I mentioned in my last post.
Cheers to waking up everyday stoked AF,
Chris
